Direct TV on Video-in-demand

After more than a year, talk of a satellite-powered video-on-demand service DirecTV has finally begun, the first tests of such a platform for a wide release later this year.

According to the Wall Street Journal, DirecTV opened the service to a select group of testers. Unlike service providers over cable, satellite DirecTV is possible that services have historically had problems of storage and transmission of pre-recorded
