Amazon backs up Blu-Ray

Wednesday, the online retailer Amazon.com was the last to declare its support for the victorious powers of the high definition technology, said that “the most prominent promotion of the Blu-ray Disc hardware and software products on its site Internet. “The company is not, however, stop its sales of HD-DVD products.

“The high definition, the landscape is changing rapidly and that consumers are looking for advice, the best way to high definition, purchasing decisions,” Peter Faricy, Amazon Vice President of films and music, said, in a statement of the company. “Customers have clearly expressed their support for the Blu-ray Disc format.”

But in a way, Amazon is also an indicator that the Blu-ray battle is not quite over. With his film Unbox download service, Amazon is counting on a number of major Web retailers digital downloads of films and TV shows. Some indicated that all disputes concerning the HD-DVD and Blu-ray for as many months, digital downloads of the company like Amazon, Netflix, iTunes and Apple has been able to find a more equitable basis.
